I don't think I've ever been all that flexible, even as a child I could never do the splits but I would so love to be able them!
I've joined the gym in an effort to improve my flexibility - yoga should help right? But I'm not very patient - I joined the gym in December and I'm not feeling any closer to doing the splits. Yes I am a bit more flexible (I can pretty much touch my toes now!) and my core strength has improved (go pilates!) but my splits aren't quite there yet. I don't think I'm doing stretches that focus on encouraging the splits.
I have therefore booked into flexibility classes at Bobbi's that specifically focus on working towards that elusive splits.
101 Dreams... not the dreams that you have whilst you're sleeping but the dreams that shape your life. The dreams that may seem unachievable, the ones that you secretly think about when you're dissatisfied with where you're at right now. These are the dreams that will feature in this blog and it is my quest to see each one fulfilled.

House (not apartment)
Owning a house - the great Australian dream isn't it? But is it really worth saddling yourself with a massive mortgage for what will most likely be the rest of your life? There's plenty of reasons for and against.
House ownership might have been the first dream that I wrote down, but it won't be the first one that I'll try to achieve. For one thing, I've already saddled myself with a mortgage over a fab apartment. However, I would love to have a yard, and a few more rooms to decorate - hence the desire for a house.
One thing at a time; and though Mr Fifi keeps an eye on any nice houses that might pop up, we aren't actively looking for a house at the moment - we've already got a great home here!

Step Two...
As for the second half of instructions:
The next step is to write each dream at the top of one of the full blank pages that follow. Then over time for each of your Dreams - whenever you're inspired - start to flesh out how you could make it happen. What would it feel like to achieve the dream? Who do you know who has done something similar? What can you learn from them? When would you like to make it happen? Make sketches. Paste pictures or clippings that bring the dream to life for you. For each dream visualise it and be inspired to make it happen.
Consider this journal as a workbook. Scribble in it. Live with it. Take it out and make notes whenever you like. Look back on it. But whatever you do, take time to put yourself first and use it to record your dreams and move you towards achieving whatever it is you want. ~kikki-K
